Have been wanting to watch movie with Umairah,
my Mum and Sister. *Blink *Blink
The movie was CooL & Enjoying eventhough some scenes were a bit sS-caRry.

The funny thing that happened was, Umairah fell asleep when the movie was half way through. NO! Not because the movie was bored, but because its her Nap Time. Haha

She SSssnNoORREEESS her way through. With only 5 people in the theatre, Us and an uncle sitting quite near us, Umairah's SSssnNoORREEESS could be heard despite the movie sound system at a blast. haha *Blink *Blink

To Those who have not watched the movie, and a fan of Lord Of The Ring, I think you should give it a go. *Blink *Blink =o)

~ Marhaban Ya Maulidur Rasul =o)

Its time again that we celebrate Maulidur for the year 1428 Hijrah

For this year it falls on Saturday 31 March 2007
On that day itself, my family is holding

Kenduri Tahlil @ home. As for Al-Yaqin, we had our 2nd last rehersal

the day before. The spirit of celebrating Maulidur Rasul has been

felt earlier when a major celebration was held earlier last Sunday

@ Singapore Expo Hall 1.
Eventhough i went there alone, i managed to met this lovely gerl

with her mom. Met them in the coach and all the way stay with

together with them till we went home =o)

After the celebration @ Al-Muttaqin, in the evening i managed to go to
Woolands Stadium with Bro Adi and Bro Nas to continue the celebrations.
Really a memorable one though eventhough it ended kinda of quite late.
My fav Nasyid Team ~ Hijjaz performed and the Forum Perdana is really useful. =o)

When we reached there around 6.30plus,

Ustaz Ahmad Dahri was giving his sharing session..

Then after mahgrib, my fav nasyid group Hijjaz

was finally on the stage... *winks2 =o)

FuH!!! Fuyoo.. its been ages since the day i posted
my last post in here.. haha =op
Now its gonna be a veRy veRy veRy Looong post.
Need to cut it short though. wakakaka.
Spending the 10 mins updating my blog. So start counting...
Update the events on the dates for the past days... =o)

1. Today i finally managed to watch the whole of
Star Wars Episode III. Understands the whole
legend finally. hehe =o) Thinking of continueing the actions
@ home too... haha.. SO get ready to be adicted people... wohooo...
Left alone in the lab by the whole group since morning...
Felt rather bored and lonely but then... what to do... ish...

2. Celebrated my daddy's bdae today (24 Mar 07)
Had a mammoth lunch @ Seoul Garden @ Tamp...
really enjoyed the food since its only my 2nd time eating there... =o)
So peoplez... whoever wantst to eat @ Seoul Garden... do ask
me along kies.. but of course... got to treat me.. hehehe *winks...

After the food, my elder sis and my mum went to
Tampines IKEA and also Giant. Its quite less crowded in IKEA rather
than in Giant...but guess what?? the clothings in Giant is kinda of cheap.
I bought a pair of jeans, which looks like levis @ abt only $10.
I must buy again... its a muST! hahaha =o)

3. Went to Piala Keris with Nasir and Ezad.
Really sweet of them to help me out with the entrance...
really appreciate it alot...and sorry if it troubles u both in anyway.
Btw...had really enjoyed the performance eventhough i got to
sit facing the hot sun.hahaha.Some of the teams clothings are kinda of
cool and glamourous and some are rather simple but unique.

Should be home early, but then stayed till almost the whole event is over.
hahahaha.. what a day. Reached home around 23:30++hrs...

DaY 04 iN CaMp

As usual came abit late.... haha
Wasnt myself today...
Having Big Headache i can say...due to my Flu symtoms...
Ended up WeAring rather formal...but oklah...
Since the visitors are coming...futhermore today got i'lm lesson.
Came to the lab...put my bag and out for breakfast..

Dragging my feet..sit near the Koi's pond and ate my bread...
Its rather peaceful and stress-releasing...
Especially with the scenery and the fountains...
Adding to the scene was...a bangla worker feeding the fish..
Thanks aites... *Every NYPians must try...It's GeReK!
After that i ate my panadol cold and went back to the lab,
dragging my feet along....

Rest for awhile and begin to explore the CDs that Mr Chew gave.
Feel better after that...and managed to set up the system well..
Finished the task @ about 12 and about 2 the visitor finally came...
*apedah..datang when i have nothing to do...
To make myself look busy, i help Siew Ting with the system setting up.

iM HAAPPPPYYY! Alhamdulillah... *my fav colour too..hehe
Must start with that first =o)

Woke up late eventhough its early @ 8.30am +/-
Get Ready early....and wanted to go bedok early..
but then, my butt stuck to the Comp's Chair.. haha

Anyway, 'Kakak' goin bedok with her dad in the afternoon around 1pm...
only ezad and fiza, went early to watch the Seni's match...

So i decided to stay home, wait till my mum finish cooking,
while i browsing people's blog...* dasar pem...bukan nk tolong masak...

Anyway yah...i finally went out! @ about 1:30+pm
Feeling terribly nervous, *macam aku pulak yang nk fight...
I quickly rush to bedok...

As usual, the bus is not cooperating....
LaMbat giLer..*boleh jadi giler menunggu pat bus stop.

TemPting to take the cab...But since im in the SaVing Mode...
I hold my desire tHigHT!...haha..

Reached there around 2.30+pm...
Met Azlina @ bedok stadium's bus stop..
* baru baca blog dier.. then meet her pulak...cute cute.. hehe
RUshed all the way inside...

Luckily, Ju's match havent start...
he was getting prepared... *Awww.. how i missed being his
Personal Morale Supporter.. (got that post meh? haha)

Anyway, he kinda of lost his focus when fighting (due to me ke???)
he lost terribly...he doesnt play full....sedih sedih..

He sat beside me all along... (so honoured *winks *winks)
Join him to rumah cik Yaya..
(luckily, coz nadiah last min cancel the delivery)
He sat beside me in the bus..

Tempted to lean my head onto his shoulder..

lucky its a chinese guy..got down @ the same bus stop some more..

ok ok.. yah.. i miss doin that... but then
i keep praying hard in my heart.. if i really want to keep him...
then i shall forgone this short-term happiness..

Had candle light dinner with him.. *except its without candles...
but the light was dimmed.. is that counted? hehe..

AnD the BeSt thiNg WaS!! the table and chairs were small..
the kiddies ones... CUTE Sey....
i was smilling all the way while eating.. dont know he notice ke tak.. hehe

We went out together..but different directions..
i got lost to my way to the bus stop..msg him and he guided him..
he told me he saw where i was walking..

A day Of Stillness

Nuthing much i did today...
Slept rather late last night, therefore woke up late today.haha...
Supposed to follow Hazirah to go for a business workshop...
Cancel the idea last min... sorry Zirah..

Wanted to go Bedok to watch the silat matches.. but then.. no mood to..
So i decided to go Orchard.. to check out the Art Friends shop
and also to survey the indonesian-chinese novel for bibik...
and of course to check out Arashi's CD for imah..

Of all the matters that were planned, only managed to do some.
Ended up hanging around @ AMK Central only..haha

Went to AMK library, check out the books, call up Art Friends Store,
Check the Price for the Voucher, and went home with Bro Darwis..

Unexpectedly, i got the chance to ride his car... *winks *winks..
Cool Mitshubishi... Shining Sleek Black.. Fierce is the term to describe the car
A good choice for a single man eventhough its for a family usage...

Im kinda of worried for someone tonite for tomoro 4 Feb 2007..
hopefully it goes well tomoro without any hiccupps...

Story For The Day: A Light Of Goodness

Many many years ago, there once flourished a beautiful kingdom in ancient India. Its streams flowed with the pure waters of the Ganges, and its birds sang songs of love and beauty. The smell of its soil brought back childhood dreams and its winds blew stories of hope.

This little jewel of a kingdom was ruled by a very generous and devoted King who had three sons. The King was getting old and so his concern for the well being of his people after his death was increasing each day.
The King was known for his righteousness and justice. He was impartial and did not immediately favor his sons to become heirs to the royal throne. He wanted to find the most suitable person to be crowned as King after his death.

So he summoned a committee of his top advisors to find him the next King. They searched far and wide looking into distant corners of the kingdom to find the most eligible leader. However after much consideration they all came up with a unanimous decision. They felt that all the virtues required to be King were present only in the King's three sons.

So the King went to his eldest son and asked him to become the next King. But the oldest Prince was so humble that he told his father that the youngest Prince had better qualities of a leader. And when the King asked the youngest Prince, he lovingly recommended the second-born Prince.
The King was touched by the love and humility of his children. But he was still worried by the question of finding the most suitable King. So he came up with a plan. He gave each of his sons a room and asked them to fill it with something that would help the kingdom.

After six months he visited the first son. He was curious to know what his eldest son had used the room for. When he opened the room he found that his son had filled up the whole room with grains. The eldest prince explained,"Sometimes we have droughts in our kingdom. This would help our people in times of such starvation." The king was pleased with his son and went ahead to meet the second son.
When he opened the second room, the King found the entire room filled with cotton. The second Prince explained,"Cotton can be compressed and so one is able to store a lot more of it. During winters our people suffer a lot. This cotton would provide them with adequate blankets and this way our people will be able to sleep well, have beautiful dreams and a vision for a better tomorrow." The King was very pleased with his explanation.

Now the King went to the third Prince. He entered the room, and was surprised to see the entire room empty except for a small candle burning in the center of the room. The King was confused and looked up at his son. The son lovingly sat by his father’s feet and explained,"Father, I will work hard towards making my life like this candle. And just as the light of this candle is lluminating every corner of this room, I will immerse the entire kingdom in the light of wisdom, love and goodness."

The King felt that he learnt the most important lesson of his life through his youngest son. He crowned him the next King with the blessings of his brothers and the joy of the entire kingdom.

A night of blogging. Or rather its a morning of blogging.
Wanted to update earlier, but since daily schedule is full and
my brain cells are only filled with XML codings,and so the
'niat' need to 'dibatalkan'.

Finally, Alhamdulillah cleared my XML, now just have to
pray hard after the hard work of striving for my XML.

Now kinda of quite of spacious for me to breathe after
suffocating for almost a month.
My work loads (school + work + extras2) really took my life
away. Nevertheless, its meaningful though =o)

For now, i just need to practice all the lessons that i got
from the experiences that i had during those moments.

Anyway, Here are the updates for what happens lately :

24 January 2007 (Wednesday)

-rushed to school after doin my last min revisions for XML
reached school on time @ 1pm.
The tutorial room area was kinda of serene.
Haha...Alhamdulillah, no XML Quiz and
postpone next week.

25 January 2007 (Thursday)

-unexpectedly, thanks to Hazirah for taking the trouble
to come down to NYP SIT Lab to accompany while
i was totally StrESSED! uP! with my XML Assignments

Decided to go for the Ilm Circles and tagging Hazirah along.
Alhamdulillah, she find the lesson useful and she met few
frends there =o)

-unexpectedly, i went to the
High Tea For Gradutes Organised by Mendaki

Thanks to Hazirah again for her lovely invitation..
kalau tak dijemput, tidak ku sampai ke sana.

Met alot of 'well known' people,

Miss my bantal busuk for training..hehe

Yeah! had a first Belia Meeting for Taman Bayati

Its actually kinda of a small project for me to be involve with

the committee& community...

especially with my own "Orang Kampung"

I was assigned to be in-charge for the games for the Mothers,

together with Cik Ani and Kak Nash *winks *winks

I prefer to be working with the kids, but then, i shall give

the opportunity to the younger ones...

Actually the food preparation team also not bad..

but of course..its kinda of many hands needed..

All the way till 10 Feb.. (day of confirmation)

30 January 2007 (Tuesday)

Alhamdulillah, Rasyiqah's celebrating her 8th Birthday today.
Unsure of what to get for her, i decided to
bake a chocolate cookies. Eventhough its kinda of instant,
but then it taste too margariney...
* i added extra of 50g of Planta..haha..

I gave one tupperware to Kakak, one for Rasyiqah and one bottle
for Bro Darwis *since he said he wanted to meet

BuT eNded up, i gave one tupperware to Kakak,
one bottle to Rasyiqah and one bottle i brought home.
Coz the meet up was cancel...and poor Rasyiqah only got
few chunks of cookies for her birthday present..
feel kinda of seDih tau.. =o(

-after tuition that day, something surprised
me on my way home. i saw Ramdhan from XMS
alighting @ the bus stop. Im REALLY sure that its Ramdhan.
haha. "di situ rupanya kau mehilang" haha.. not that im searching
for him or what lah. just like to know whereabouts of my old friends.

Felt rather kinda of moody or rather hot-tempered this
whole week. Should be due to Stress @ sch and @ tuition
Burst out yesterday @ rasyiqah's place...
I was totally pissed off with her that i broke out and cried
when in the lift on the way home.
Feeling rather guilty for letting myself to be uncontrolled
=o

Alhamdulillah, today's lesson is alot better.
im getting back to myself and shes cooperating with me.

2nd Fiqh Lesson attended.
and Had 1st Fiqh test today. Its kinda of fun. =o)

THE MONTH OF MUHARRAM

THE MONTH OF MUHARRAM

With the sighting of the new moon the Islaamic new year is ushered in.
The first month Muharram is one of the four sacred months that Allah
has mentioned in the Holy Qur'aan:

The specification of these four sacred months is
stated in a hadeeth narrated by Abu Bakrah radhiyallahu anhu;
Verily time has completed its cycle and returned to its original stage
as it was on the day Allah created the heavens and the earth.
The year consists of twelve months, four of which are sacred.
Three of them occur consecutively; Zil Qa'dah, Zil Hijjah and Muharram,
(the fourth being) Rajab of Mudhar (named after the tribe of Mudhar
as they used to respect this month) which occurs between
Jamadiul Aakhir and Sha'baan.

(Bukhari Vol.2 Page 622)

From out of the four sacred months, Muharram has been blessed with
certain specific virtues. The Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said:
The best of fasts besides the month of Ramadhaan
is the fasting of Allah's month of Muharram and the best of salaat
besides the fardh (compulsory) salaat is the tahajjud salaat
(performed after midnight before dawn).

Muslim Vol.1 Page 368

In another hadeeth, Ibne Abbas radhiyallahu anhu reports that
the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wasallam said: He who fasts
on the day of Arafah (9th Zil Hijjah), his fast will be a compensation for
the sins of two years and the one that keeps a fast in the month of Muharram will receive the reward of thirty fasts for each fast
(in this sacred month).

Tabraani, At Targheeb WatTarheeb Vol.2 Page 114.

Recommended deeds on the day of Aashoorah

The Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam has exhorted and
encouraged his ummah to fast on this day. Abu Qataadah radhiyallahu anhu
narrates that the Holy Prophet sallahllahu alayhi wasallam was asked
regarding the fast of the day of Aashoorah.
The Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam replied:

"It is a compensation for the (minor) sins of the past year".

(Muslim Vol.1 Page 368)

One should also observe the fast of the 9th Muharram to safeguard
his deed from resemblance with the non-muslims who fast only
on the 10th Muharram. Ibne Abbas radhiyallahu anhu said:
When Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam observed the fast
of the day of Aashoorah and ordered (his Companions) to fast,
they said, "O Rasulullah!It is a day revered by the
Jews and Christians." Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam said,

"The coming year, if Allah wills, we will fast on the ninth (also)".

(Muslim Vol.1Page 359)

These ahadeeth indicate clearly that one should fast on the
ninth and tenth of Muhaaram. However, if one does not manage to fast
on the ninth, then he should fast on the eleventh of Muharram instead.
The Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said:

"Observe the fast of Aashoorah and oppose the Jews.
Fast a day before it or a day after."

(Bayhaqi).

Hence, it is important to either fast on the ninth and tenth of Muharram
or the tenth and eleventh. To fast only on the day of
Aashoorah is makrooh tanzeehi as stated by Allamah Ibne Aabideen Shaami.

One should be generous on one’s family and dependents and
spend more on them than what is normally spent.
Abu Hurayrah radhiyallahu anhu reports
that Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam said:

"One who generously spends on his family on the day of Aashoorah,
Allah will increase (his provision) for the whole year".

(Bayhaqi, At Targheeb Wat Tarheeb Vol. 2 Page 116)

Yeah Alhamdulillah...
Met hazirah and we get to visit
the bookstore.. 'Muslim Media'
Its an interesting bookstore eventhough
not as spacious as 'Wardah Books'.
Wanted to go to 'Bayan' but time doesnt permits.
Anyway, theres also
another New bookstore nearby but erm...
still yet to know the name.

Anyway, found out that there's this pastry
shop nearby, 'Indulgence Pasteriess'.
Wanted to check out the shop, but sayang...its closed.
Opening Hrs : 8.30am-7.30pm.
The interesting part is...
we can get discounted pastries after 6.30pm...
hhmmmm =o)

Along the way to Masjid Sultan saw this tourist
taking photos of the mosque.
Finding its a nice view, i joined the snap shots.. hehe..
im a 'tourist' too u know.. haha =o)

A BROKEN HEART: AN AVOIDABLE FATE

"You bury your treasure where it can't be found,
but you love is like a secret that's been passed around."

These words are from an old poem. But the story they tell is a common one.

We all wanted it: the storybook love.
So we let Hollywood/Bollywood define it. And we chased it.
As Muslims, we don't date. We may even be too young to get married.
But, we still can't help but seek the fairytale. So, we set out to create it.

It starts with instant messenger or email.
At first, we convince ourselves of the myth of guy/girl "friendships".
But before long, we've created an emotional relationship
with someone who is not, and who most likely never will be our spouse.

Even if our intentions are sincerely for marriage,
our actions are naïve and un-Islamic.
The relationship is often kept secret from our families and has
little hope of materializing into marriage.
Without the knowledge-let alone the consent-of our parents,
we act as if we have chosen our spouse.
Then we create an emotional bond that should
only be created after marriage. When our parents do get involved,
more often than not, they do not consent to the marriage.

At that point we must choose. Some of us will choose to disregard
the wishes of our families and proceed with the marriage anyway.
Unless our parents seek something that would displease ALLAH,
disobeying them is a recipe for disaster.

The Qur'an says:
"We have enjoined on man kindness to parents:
but if they (either of them) strive (to force) you to join
with Me (in worship) anything of which you have no knowledge,
obey them not. You have (all) to return to Me,
and I will tell you (the truth) of all that you did."[29:8].

In most cases, however, illusionary love drives us to turn our
backs on what's real: the love and care of our families.
For a bond of a couple months, we destroy a bond of a lifetime.
It may turn out well in the movies-even the little mermaid was
rewarded for her disloyalty to her father. But in real life,
most who choose this route someday come to regret it.

Others at this crossroads will choose to respect their parent's wishes
and will end the relationship. For those, the damage is less,
but still substantial. These people placed all their eggs
in a broken basket, and later wonder why they fell.
At best, this is foolish.

But this foolishness has a price.
After becoming emotionally tied to someone,
we realize we cannot marry them. We return home.
But we return broken, filled with emotional scars
and psychological baggage. Then when we do get married,
we present our spouse a half-eaten heart we had given to another.

Both these choices are ones we shouldn't have to make.
To keep from getting wet, all we have to do is stay clear of water.
ALLAH tells us not only to avoid haram, but also anything
that may lead to haram. Much of Islamic law is based on the
principle that prevention is better than cure.
Rather than curing our hearts, we should protect it:

Avoid friendship with the opposite sex through email,
instant messenger or phone-even if you think it's innocent.
Avoid mixed hangouts, even in public places.
Don't buy into the dangerous myth of platonic "friendship"
between the sexes. Allah didn't create us that way,
and this is how most problems begin.

Make sure his or her parents are involved and have given
their blessing (to marriage). In most cases, marrying someone
without the blessing of his or her family is a recipe for failure.
Marriage is hard enough without the added stress
of disapproving in-laws. Also, do not allow yourself to be
the reason for a split between someone and their family.
The ties of blood are sacred in Islam and should not be broken
except under extreme circumstance.
Furthermore, in many cultures, you marry the family.
So, unhappy in-laws will be bad for you, your marriage
and your future as a family.

Remembering these things is vital.
Too often as Muslims, we are careful to guard our chastity,
but we sell our heart cheaply.
This is dangerous, un-Islamic and unfair.
More than anything, it is avoidable.

Got to meet him finally yesterday...

after several times cancelling the meetings..

Unfortunately, i screwed the meet up.

Im kinda of 'paisey' and i just passed him the tickets

and walked of.He too walked off.

I felt really terrible after that for no reason.

Till today, i felt the same. Hardly slept last night, but luckily

i woke up quite early this morning. Alhamdulillah.

i really pray to Allah that i will be given peace in the heart and mind.

i really trying my best to stay single here...for Allah sake...

as i believe in myself that, if im really given a companion...

my companion will come on his own when both are ready.

i just want to keep my heart @ its pureness so
i can give it to him whole heartedly.

I actually feel alot better now after reading this...
it really emphasize on my belief all this while...

Abandoning Something For The Sake And Pleasure Of Allah

Ibn Rajab relates an account of a worshipper
who ran out of resources while he was in Makkah.
He became extremely hungry and was about to die from lack of nourishment.

One day, as he was wandering in the precincts of Makkah,
he found an expensive necklace.
He put it into his sleeves and headed for the Masjid.
On his way he came across a man
announcing that he had lost a necklace.
The poor man later said,
" I asked him to describe it to me,and he did so, perfectly,
leaving no room for doubt.I gave him the necklace
without taking reward from him.
I said "Oh Allah,I have given it for You,
so compensate me with what is better."

He went to the ocean and began a journey in a small boat.
Only a brief period of time passed before a storm came with
heavy winds crashing into the boat.
The boat smashed into pieces and the man was forced
to cling to a piece of wood. The winds were violent,
propelling him to the left and to the right.

Finally, he was washed ashore onto an island.
He found there a Masjid filled with people who were praying,
so he joined them. He found papers with parts of the Qur'an written on them and he began to recite from them.

The people of the island asked him, "Do you read the Qur'an?"
He answered in the affirmative.
They said, "Teach our children Qur'an."

So he began to teach them and he took a salary for his services.
One day, they saw him writing and they asked,
"Will you teach our children to write?"
Again he answered in the affirmative
and began teaching them for a salary.

A short time later, they said to him,
"There is an orphaned girl with us whose father was a good man.
Will you marry her?"

He agreed to the marriage and later related,
"I married her and found that she was wearing
the exact same necklace. She said that her father
lost it in Makkah and a man found it and returned to him.
She said that her father would always supplicate
while prostrating,for her daughter to become blessed with a
husband similar to the honest man.
I then informed her that I was that man."

"...Oh Allah,
I have given it for You,
so compensate me with what is better..."

LESSON:
Abandoning something for the sake and Pleasure of Allah (SWT)
- and Allah will definitely compensate with something that is better,
either sooner or later, in this world or Hereafter.

A Late Bloomer

A cactus stood all alone in the desert,
wondering why it was stuck in the
middle of nowhere.

"I do nothing but stand here all day,"
it sighed.

"What use am I? I'm the ugliest
plant in the desert."

"My spines are thick and prickly,
my leaves are rubbery and tough,
my skin is thick and bumpy."

"I can't offer shade or juicy fruit
to any passing traveler. "

"I don't see that I'm any use at all."

All it did was stand in the sun day after day, growing taller and
fatter. Its spines grew longer and its leaves tougher, and it
swelled here and there until it was lumpy and lopsided all over.
It truly was strange- looking.

"I wish I could do something useful," it sighed.

By day hawks circled high overhead.

"What can I do with my life?"the cactus called.

Whether they heard or not, the hawks sailed away.

At night the moon floated into the sky and cast its
pale glow on the desert floor.

"What good can I do with my life?" the cactus called.

The moon only stared coldly as it mounted its course.
A lizard crawled by, leaving a little trail in the sand with its tail.

"What worthy deed can I do?" the cactus called.

"You?" the lizard laughed, pausing a moment.

"Worthy deed? Why, you can't do anything!

The hawks circle way overhead, tracing delicate patterns
for us all to admire. The moon hangs high like a lantern at night,
so we can see our ways home to our loved ones.
Even I, the lowly lizard, have something to do.

I decorate the sands with these beautiful brushstrokes as
I pull my tail along. Buy you?
You do nothing but get uglier every day."

And so it went on, year after year. At last the cactus grew old,
and it knew its time was short.

"Oh, Lord," it cried out,

"I've wondered so long, and I've tried so hard.

Forgive me if I've failed to find something worthy to do.

I fear that now it's too late."

But just then the cactus felt a strange stirring and unfolding,
and it knew a surge of joy that erased all despair.

At its very tip, like a sudden crown, a glorious flower
suddenly opened in bloom.

Never had the desert known such a blossom.

Its fragrance perfumed the air far and wide and
brought happiness to all passing by.

The butterflies paused to admire its beauty, and that night even the
moon smiled when it rose to find such a treasure.

The cactus heard a voice.

"You have waited long,"the Lord said.

"The heart that seeks to do good reflects My glory, and will always
bring something worthwhile to the world, something in which
all can rejoice - even if for only a moment."

Yesh!...I managed to rush down

and clearing up @ around 2.30pm.

Coz my mum helped with rolling the
dough the night before...hehe

First impression of the event, not
many supporters. Only the familiar
faces of the committee are around...

But people then starts to come after

asar and esp when the GOH arrives.

So by the time its iftar, itrs already
a large group of guests =o)

Before the launching of MYAC starts and
while waiting for the arrival of the GOH,
our Qari from TP... *never get his name...
He recited a surah from the Qur'an.

The Dome Of The Rock

Sebungkah batu yang saiz panjangnya 56 kaki dan
lebarnya 42 kaki terapung di kawasan Islam di kota Juruselam.

Menurut sejarah, batu ini terapung sejak peristiwa
Israk dan Mikraj Nabi Muhammad SAW. pada tahun 619.

Di ceritakan bahawa batu ini cuba mengikuti
Rasulullah SAW Mikraj ke langit, tetapi ianya ditahan oleh
Baginda Rasulullah saw dan malaikat Jibrail.
Dari sejak itu batu ini terus terapung sehingga kini dan
Hinggalah Hari Kiamat kelak.

Semasa pemerintahan Khalifah ke 2 Saidina
Omar ra. (tahun 638) kota Juruselam merupakan
kawasan jajahan Islam, dan kawasan batu ini di kepung
dengan mendirikan sebuah masjid berbentuk bulat yang
direka khas oleh seorang akitek Greek.

Pada pemerintahan Khalifah ke 10 Abdul Al-Malik
ibn Marwan, (tahun 687 dan 691) masjid ini dibangunkan
semula dan dikenali sebagai DOME OF ROCK yang
tingginya 10 meter dan diameter nya 20 meter
di kota Juruselam.

Bagi orang-orang Arab ianya dipanggil sebagai
Masjid Qubbat Al-Shakha.

What i did for the past 3 days or so... =o)

First i shall start with wednesday(last week)...went to eat thosai with
suhana(mawar) with her mom, and immamosh(ima) and
Mary,a friend of theirs. @ Tekka Mall.

I ate Bathurah...Imah ate Thosai masalah,Mary ate paper thosai
and Suhana ate thosai.Plus another thosai later on.hehe =o)
Had a good mealtime there.Thanks to Suhana's Mum for the treat.

Then I went to Far East To look for Nurul & Ikin,
then went to Bugis to meet them. Walk around,
took un-planned neoprint and went home.

On Wednesday(this week)...went rumah Nurul to do
'rewang-rewang' by helping out her sister project.
Cool idea she got and creative ways of generating the idea.
sorry for not being pro in helping. =o)

On thursday...went to Bugis Village with Nurul and shikin.
Nurul bought $5 watch..which is nice..Ikin and me bought clothing.

On friday...me lepak @ rumah Nurul updating my blog and
creating her blog into display.Went home after that.

On saturday...went to Titian Mind with Mar.Lost and found
around the Caldecott Road.Met few people there. Instead of
we watching peacefully, i was chit chatting all the way. haha =op

On sunday...went to Rock Climbing @ Tanjong Pagar
with the Yaqinians... Had a fun-filling time there with the walls.
We had our lunch as a group @ the nearest Akhbar restaurant.
Cool rock-climbing site.Proud to say...it is Syarikat Anak Melayu.
The place starts to crowd around after 2pm.
Lucky we had filled our time during the morning...

A Day Paid Off...

Alhamdulillah...patience had finally been paid off.
Went to Spore Expo Hall 1 yesterday with my mum
to celebrate Malam Nisfu Sya'aban 1427.

Went there kinda of last minute ard 6.35pm and reached
there on time. =o) Had the opportunity to mahgrib
as a jemaah and had the chance to recite Yaasin 3 times together
and we did some zikir and selawat together.
Really enjoyed doin that especially as a group. =o)
~May what we always hoping for will be granted.Aamiiin =o)

After that, we pray Ishak as a jemaah too.
There was a syarahan by erm..forget his name though.
He was from Indon.Never heard of him before.
His ceramah or rather sharing session was great and
really meaningful. =o)

Went home around almost 11.30pm.
Had a tough day during the day, with the stomach
cramping, bowel uneasiness and of course head-craking moment.
All had been paid off i guess =o) insya-allah...

How i wish my frends and loved ones were there too..to be part of it...
Anyway, saving some money now...preparing for bahas moments tomoro.hehe

What A Day....My 2nd Sept 2006

Woke up late for my Tarannum Test/Competition...
Reached there around almost 9.45 am.

Forget to take my bottle of warm water...eventhough its prepared...
and of course my battery for walkman.the battery that was used had finished...
caused i forgot to switch off my walkman after rushing to alight the bus yesterday...
What a way to start my day...

Mind go spinning during in the bus...trying to recall how my
teachers read in the cassette tape and to me.
Feeling rather heck care...i just rushed to the masjid.

Upon reaching...saw Fiza and Abg Rizal playing badminton.
Wanted to call @ them but then...neh..
Alhamdulillah...Kak Nask-my teacher said that my no. was 47...
haha..from 28 becomes 47...Thank You Allah...
Had tonnes of times to practice...

Alhamdulillah..thanks to Fiza...for being generous to lend me her phone..
really of great help..anyway sorry for using it till Low Batt..
Managed to have recordings of me reciting..wee heee =o)

Anyway...for watever the results will be...that will be out @ the majlis haflah
that is after the raya...im glad that i finally managed to be someone
just like a Qariah..heehee..still a very long way to go...and tonnes of lessons
need to attend.. *winks =o)

*for that someone .... juz not ur luck to hear me recite..eventhough i msged
u alot of times...just wondering why the msgs u had not receive..
